Terms of service

The rules for buying and using script licences from Tyr Scripts.

Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: set the effective date when this policy is finalised]

These terms cover how licences are sold, delivered, renewed, and used on Tyr Scripts. By creating an account or buying a licence, you agree to them.

Insert a standard acceptance-of-terms clause drafted or reviewed by a lawyer, including how and when these terms are considered accepted.

1. What we sell

Tyr Scripts sells time-limited licences to third-party scripts. Each licence is delivered as a key, bound to a single hardware ID (HWID), for a fixed duration you choose at checkout: 7, 30, 90, or 365 days.

A licence grants access to use the script for the paid duration. It is not a transfer of ownership of the script itself.

2. Licence scope and HWID binding

Keys are bound to the hardware they're first activated on. A key issued for one device cannot be used on another without going through our reset process, where one exists.

Insert the formal licence grant: permitted use, restrictions (no resale, no sublicensing, no reverse engineering), and what happens on breach.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You sign in with Discord. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to that Discord account secure.

Insert minimum age / capacity-to-contract language, and what happens to licences if an account is found to violate this.

4. Payment and pricing

Prices are shown before checkout and are charged in full at time of purchase. All prices displayed include the currency; we do not store or trust any price sent from your browser — every order is priced from our own records at the moment you pay.

Insert accepted payment methods, currency/tax handling (VAT for EU buyers), and invoicing details.

5. Renewals and extensions

Renewing a licence extends your existing key rather than issuing a new one. If you renew before your current licence expires, the new duration is added on top of your remaining time rather than replacing it. Lifetime licences are never shortened, overwritten, or downgraded by a later purchase.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled separately — see our refund policy for the full terms that apply to instant-delivery digital goods.

7. Acceptable use

Insert prohibited-use clauses: no redistribution of keys, no circumventing HWID binding, no abusive automation against our systems, no fraud/chargeback abuse.

8. Third-party games and platforms

Scripts sold here interact with third-party games we don't operate or control. Using a script may violate the terms of service of the game or platform it targets, which can put your game account at risk.

Placeholder — real policy text needed

Insert a formal disclaimer of affiliation with any game publisher/platform, and an explicit assumption-of-risk clause regarding third-party bans or penalties.

9. Service status and availability

Every script has a live status: working, patched, or updating. When a script is patched by a game update, new sales are paused until it's fixed — this doesn't retroactively refund or extend licences bought before the patch unless our refund policy says otherwise.

10. Limitation of liability

Placeholder — real policy text needed

Insert a liability limitation clause reviewed for enforceability under Dutch/EU consumer law — blanket liability waivers are often unenforceable against consumers.

11. Termination

Placeholder — real policy text needed

Insert grounds for suspending or terminating accounts/keys, and what (if anything) is owed to the customer when that happens.

12. Changes to these terms

Placeholder — real policy text needed

Insert how updates are communicated (e.g. notice period, changelog) and whether continued use counts as acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

Placeholder — real policy text needed

Insert governing law and jurisdiction (we operate from the Netherlands — confirm with a lawyer whether Dutch law and courts apply, and how EU consumer protections interact with this).

14. Contact

Insert the legal entity name, registered address, and a contact email for legal notices.
